Jan 14, 2020 · An ecolabel specification that will encourage companies to reduce the amount of construction and demolition (C&D) waste going to landfill has been launched in New Zealand. Launched at the WasteMINZ conference last year, the new specification, EC-59 C&D Waste Services, has been developed by the New Zealand Ecolabelling Trust (NZET).

Waste generation and disposal in New Zealand

Although no national information exists on the volume of waste going to cleanfills, surveys have found that cleanfills in the Auckland region receive slightly more construction and demolition waste than the total total waste entering Auckland landfills (Auckland Regional Council and Auckland City Council, 1996).

      Sir , normal silica sand from River bed and Sea shore silica % will be 95 – 97 % only
      If you require silica 99.5 – 99.9 % you should Crush Quartz Lumps and process it
      OR Fuse the low grade Quarts for high purity
